But the question today is: what makes us unique? Who are we, really? Well, beyond the data collection part of Qualifio, it’s all about the culture we’ve built together.
We won’t discuss our data collection, gamification and interactive marketing expertise this time. This time, we’re focusing on what truly matters and what makes Qualifio special: our people and our values, as we continue to grow and improve.

There are probably many things that came to your mind. But something you’ve surely noticed is that we’re having a fantastic time. Our values reflect who we are and how we operate daily. These values (Commitment, Transparency, Fun, Empowerment, Creativity, and Togetherness) form the foundation of our culture and can be seen in every aspect of our work.
Commitment drives us to go the extra mile for our customers, team, and mission. How can you see that in action? For example, our Helpdesk responds to customers within 10 minutes and resolves issues in under 10 hours. Our sales team replies to prospects within 30 minutes. Everyone at the company is dedicated to making Qualifio the best platform possible.
Transparency fosters an environment of trust, where open communication is encouraged and everyone’s voice is heard and valued. We kick off our weeks with a Sales-CSM-Studio-Marketing meeting to review weekly highlights, set goals for the week ahead, and stay informed about other teams’ projects. Our monthly all-hands meetings and quarterly finance reviews also keep everyone up-to-date on the company’s financial performance, which is essential.
We believe in the power of fun. We understand that a positive, enjoyable workplace fuels creativity and innovation. How do we do this? In many ways! Our annual seminars are unforgettable moments filled with fun and laughter. We also have a dedicated “fun crew”, regularly organising events and gatherings to make the most of every moment.
Empowerment gives our team members the autonomy to take initiative and grow personally and professionally. At Qualifio, there are plenty of opportunities to speak up and challenge ourselves. Regular one-on-one meetings with our manager and bi-annual assessments provide space for open conversations about progress, development and new ideas. This is where empowerment and transparency come together!
Creativity is at the core of approaching challenges, encouraging us to think outside the box and find innovative solutions for our clients. From inspirational webinars to internal pitches and regular campaign inspiration articles, we challenge ourselves to be as creative as possible at every level.
Finally, togetherness reflects our belief in the power of collaboration and community, ensuring we always support and uplift one another. We have plenty of opportunities to connect outside of work, from afterworks to seminars and charity events, we love being together and creating memories.

But how do we get there? How do we keep a working culture guided by our values safe? Well, it’s not easy at all. It’s not about printing fancy visuals and hanging them up in the office to ensure everyone remembers them while having a coffee. It’s about bringing these values to life in every action we take.
Do you know where it all begins? It starts with our people — the heart of everything we do. The HR team creates the structure that shapes our culture, ensuring it aligns with our values and vision. But it’s the Management Team, together with every individual, that ensures these principles come to life in daily actions and decisions.
You must be creative in finding ways to make a working culture live in every part of a company. And it’s also about how you’re going to implement it. To do so, you can’t be by yourself, and you need to surround yourself with people with knowledge and creativity in everyday tasks.

That’s why we regularly organise a variety of activities throughout the year. Last summer, our fun crew arranged an after-work event at Walibi Belgium, complete with drinks, thrilling attractions, and plenty of laughter. The goal? To have fun together and share some smiles, which we did. We’re already excited for the next one!
Our sports and events calendar keeps everyone updated on what’s coming:
- December is typically our “Impact Month”, when we focus on charitable activities, like donating blood, for example. Each year, we also come together to craft some bags of sweets, which are later given to children who don’t get the chance to celebrate Saint Nicholas. This year, we’ll also be organising a waste collection walk during lunchtime!
- Our walking challenge is another way for us to bond while supporting causes. This year, we collectively walked around 3,700 km and collected €1,000 to donate to Plan International, an organisation supporting children in conflict-affected countries.
- Summer is another calendar highlight, with afterwork barbecues and outdoor events to make the most of the sunny weather.
- And it’s not just in Belgium, our colleagues in Barcelona enjoyed an early paddleboarding session at sunrise on the Mediterranean last summer. These moments bring us together, no matter where we are.
It is important not to forget the value of these moments, of being together and building a shared culture where employees can find balance. But it is crucial, especially since teleworking is an accepted way of working. People need to have the opportunity to spend time together and feel the values of their company’s roots.
Our recruitment journey: a thoughtful process
Another essential element at Qualifio is that we have quite an elaborate recruitment process. We believe recruitment is not just about ticking boxes of skills. We’re looking for people who resonate with our culture and values. We want every team member to excel in their role and to find their place in our community. And this process actively contributes to our company culture.
Why? To maintain this culture based on values, there is no choice but to ensure a personal match. And this can’t be done in just one interview.
