Top interactive marketing campaigns of July
Can you believe that it has already been one month since the start of summer? 🌞 The season is in full swing, and the Olympics 2024 spirit is lighting up our screens with our users launching great interactive marketing campaigns!
From Olympic-themed games that bring out the competitor in all of us to campaigns that highlight the summer spirit, these initiatives have been all about engaging the audiences and collecting first-party and zero-party data.
Are you ready? Let’s take a look at the best campaigns of July!
1. Adopt Parfum’s summer calendar
Summer is officially at its peak, with many long days and endless blue skies! Whether you’re looking forward to your next getaway or simply enjoying the sunny days at home, a taste of vacation is always welcomed. And since fragrances always set the mood, Adopt Parfum treated their audience with a summer calendar.
In addition to launching their iconic physical summer calendar, the brand decided to treat their audience to a special digital version. For seven days, participants could win one of the calendar’s exclusive fragrances by simply filling out a form.
This campaign was an excellent method for the brand to connect with their audience while collecting valuable data such as email addresses, phone numbers or dates of birth.
2. Carmila’s champions personality test
The countdown is over, and the much-anticipated Paris Olympics 2024 is finally here!
To celebrate, Carmila decided to launch a unique marketing campaign across their shopping centres using our engaging personality test format in collaboration with our talented Studio team.
After scanning a QR code at a participating shopping centre, participants had to select a gift category they were interested in. Then, they were taken to a digital locker room, in which they needed to choose a locker to reveal their prize.
This campaign was not only a fantastic way for the shopping centre chain to engage customers and collect valuable data but also a great strategy to boost in-store sales, as each prize was a voucher redeemable at their shops.
3. TNTV’s back-to-school spot the difference
Even though the summer vibe is still in the air, July is coming to a close, and for some, that means that the back-to-school season is just around the corner! To build anticipation, TNTV partnered with Hyper U supermarkets to launch an interactive “spot the difference” game on their website.
Participants had to spot the differences between two back-to-school-themed images to see if they were winners. The lucky ones had a chance to win a €20 voucher to use at any Hyper U supermarket for their back-to-school shopping!
This campaign was not only a fantastic means for the media to connect with their audience but also an effective strategy to grow their database by collecting valuable data such as email addresses and phone numbers.
4. Odalys x La Grande Récré Olympics’ contest
As the Olympics captivate audiences worldwide, the excitement and energy of the games are truly contagious. That’s why Odalys and La Grande Récré joined forces to offer their audience over a month of fun sports campaigns.
From advanced formats (optional add-on to your Qualifio licence) with a swap & match and a repeat it! game to a general knowledge quiz and both a photo and a video contest, there is something for everyone!
How does it work? Starting July 5th, a new challenge is being released each week. Participants have one week to join in and compete for exciting prizes, including gift cards from both brands, a paid trip for four to an Odalys holiday rental, and even a two-minute “all you can grab” shopping spree at a La Grande Récré store.
This ingenious initiative is not only boosting their brand engagement but also expanding their database as they collect valuable data and newsletter sign-ups.
5. Besson Chaussures’ adventurous maze muncher
During the summer break, it can sometimes be hard to keep young children entertained, and any available option is good to use. For that reason, Besson Chaussures decided to launch a fun maze muncher for all the family!
Players had to munch on all the points while dodging the clouds and catching the suns to earn bonus points.
This campaign was a great way for the brand to engage their audience while increasing the time they spend on their digital channels.
