WCAG 2.1 and accessibility

On June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) came into effect, requiring certain digital services, tools, and content to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA. These requirements are designed to ensure that digital experiences are accessible to everyone, including participants who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies.

Accessibility is a fundamental part of creating inclusive digital experiences, reflecting our values as a company committed to Corporate Social Responsibility. Built to help you collect data and engage your entire audience through interactive experiences, Qualifio carries a responsibility to ensure that content created on the platform will be accessible and fair.

Accessibility on Qualifio

While the transitional measures outlined in the European Directive provide more time to adapt current content, we aim to support your success and compliance with this new regulation, and have been steadily enhancing a variety of features across Qualifio. Our approach involves first updating features that are common to multiple campaign types, followed by those tailored to specific formats. These improvements are designed to help you meet accessibility standards while ensuring that the largest possible audience can participate in your interactive experiences.

We’re committed to meeting EEA requirements and currently dedicate the majority of our development resources to achieving this goal. This change in legislation not only sets important standards but also creates opportunities for innovation on the platform and lays the foundations of future accessibility developments. As we progress, we’ll continue to keep you informed and share our progress on this journey towards a more accessible future for interactive marketing.

Thank you,

Olivier de Lamotte, Head of Product
